Baltimore Electronic and Techno Electronica Dance Music 2012 Concert One

ORIGINAL INTERNET PRESS DATE - 01/02/2012

Hello to all. This Electronic Music/Experimental Music/Electro-Acoustic Music event, herein known as the BALTIMORE ELECTRONIC AND TECHNO ELECTRONICA DANCE MUSIC 2012 CONCERT ONE, is being sponsored by the Baltimore SDIY Group & Friends. This will be a really nice musical endeavor, so we are really looking forward to this event.

Please come out & join us for a really fantastic night of knob twisting, pitch bending, wiring mazes, sound shaping & visual explosions that will coincide with an absolutely awesome musical voyage into another galaxy of sound alterations.

For the first time in the history of this group we have decided to do something different with this show by performing a combination of our usual electronic music tunes during the first half of the show then have continuous techno electronica dance music for the second half of the show. We hope that you'll enjoy, appreciate & dance to the music.

This concert is also listed on the EVENT page of the Baltimore SDIY Group's FACEBOOK website at http://www.facebook.com/events/321215671242548/

Our Feb 4th concert at The Windup Space is listed on page 41 (NOW HEAR THIS) & page 48 (SHORT LIST) of the February 1st to February 8th 2012 edition of the free Baltimore CITY PAPER.

In the print version of the newspaper on page 41, we're listed under the NOW HEAR THIS section & the online version of that advertisement can be found here - http://weekly.citypaper.com/Events/e149728/Baltimore_Electronic_and_Techno_Electronica_Dance_Music_Cuddle_Magic_and_guests

It's also listed in their online SHORT LIST section - http://citypaper.com/music/the-short-list-1.1265304 as "The Baltimore Electronic and Techno Electronica Dance Music 2012 Concert is all in a name and then some at the Windup Space with Hal Schmulowitz, Safe2, the Synth Tech Project, This Is Your Signal, and more."

Michael Byrne, who I send the info to, has done a really great write-up of this event for us, so hats off to him for a job well done again. He has really been a great local media friend to us since 2010 & we greatly appreciate his efforts.

Thank you so much to Russell de Ocampo of The Windup Space for booking this show for us as this is our second time performing at this venue.

This concert is dedicated to the memory of Richard Lainhart, February 14th 1953 to December 30th 2011......Gone But Definitely Not Forgotten.

We had just met him via email & were fortunate enough to have him agree to perform in two of our events in 2009. He was a very likeable & friendly person as well as a very talented musician, so his presence will be greatly missed by all who knew him. The Baltimore SDIY Group extends their heartfelt condolences to his wife Caroline Meyers.
