Welcome to Clearance Delivery at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. This position is responsible for all clearances that cannot use a PDC, which includes VFR aircraft and helicopters.
There is also a ramp control position (except at the transient ramp). For aircraft on those ramps, after readback correct:
"(callsign), readback correct, call for push."
VFR aircraft need a clearance to operate in the Class B airspace. Coordinate with S46 on an altitude limit to issue.
Cleared out of the Seattle-Tacoma Class Bravo airspace...
A: Maintain VFR at or below 2,500 (issue altitude per coordination)
F: Departure frequency 125.6
T: Squawk 1662
When a helicopter requests either a Class B or Special VFR clearance, advise the pilot to contact Seattle Tower.
