Transfer of Control
Departures are released to ZSE for turns with respect to the transferring sector’s airspace.
What does this mean? If you hand off an aircraft to ZSE, they can turn that aircraft pretty much without restrictions as long as they dont hit your other traffic or bust another P80 sector's airspace
Departures assigned 15,000 ft. are released to ZSE for climb.
Arrivals are released to P80 for turns up to 30 degrees and descent with respect to the transferring sector’s airspace. Arrivals over ELKES are released for turns up to 90 degrees to the right.
You can turn an aircraft no more than 30 degrees until the aircraft enters your airspace, except for arrivals over ELKES which you can turn up to 90 degrees right only.
