Maps and Parking

Wright Lab has a parking code for the Pierson Sage Garage for visitors who are being officially hosted by Wright Lab (such as seminar speakers).  If you have a visitor who is being hosted by the lab, please have your administrative support contact send the visitor the code to the garage.

Please note that each time a person enters, Wright lab is charged $8.  (Therefore, for instance, if a visitor comes for a day but enters and exits the garage twice during that day we will be charged $16).

As Wright Lab pays for this parking, we ask that you please respect and use the code in appropriate situations.

Visitors who are not being hosted by Wright Lab should park in one of the Yale visitor lots.  Lot 16V is the closest visitor lot ($2/hr from 7:00a.m. to 4:00p.m., Monday-Friday, but this and  many other Yale lots are free after 4:00 p.m. and on weekends).  See also the Yale Parking Map and Visitor Parking website for more information.

Arranging visitor travel

When an administrative support staff person responsible for the visitor's logistics is asked to arrange the visitor's travel, the admin should send the visitor the WL traveler intake form.

The responses to the traveler intake form are collected on a spreadsheet to which the relevant staff have access.

The data from this form includes personal data and will be purged at the end of every semester.

Reimbursements

The administrative assistant responsible for the visitor's logistics asks the visitor to email/mail/give the administrative assistant the visitor's receipts and home address (or whichever address the visitor would like the check sent to), and to confirm that the visitor is a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. If the visitor is not a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, the visitor is required to complete and sign the top part of the IIF form (below), and send a copy of their passport ID page and U.S. visa stamp or DS-2019 to the administrative assistant.
