A collection of short training modules are available on the UCAS Professional Development Site and the Advisers section on the main UCAS website.
There are plenty of modules to choose from, but the mandatory training modules for teachers/advisers are:
Introduction to UCAS for Teacher and Advisers
Introduction to references
Managing Applications Pre-Submission.
Each should take about 30 minutes. (Obviously you can do more if you like! š šš½)
Any questions, please contact Finn (Careers Leader) on fbyrne@wvr.ac.uk
Please watch this short 1-minute walkthrough video to understand how to access the professional self-directed modules. Alternatively, please follow the steps below.
Log into UCAS and click Advisers from the drop down under your name on the top right hand side of the screen.
There is lots of information and overviews in this section itself, but for the professional training you need to click on the tile āGuides, Resources and Trainingā
Then click on the tile āGuides and Resourcesā
Scroll down the page to point Number 5 āTraining Opportunitiesā then click āDigital training to support youā
Click the link to enter the āProfessional Development Platformā.
Once in the Professional Development Platform, click the person icon and the red login button in the right hand corner of the page and (fingers crossed) it should log you in!
Under āTeachers Advisors and Agentsā click the modules you would like to complete.
