In light of the current climate of the world, as educators we can see that increasing our knowledge of digital technologies will only benefit ourselves and our learners. At Warrington and Vale Royal College, we want to make sure that all staff are able to use technology to benefit themselves and others around them - learners or other staff members.
This Digital page has been split into two separate categories: Essential Digital Skills and EdTech
Essential Digital Skills is a framework set out by the Department for Education (DfE) which set out digital skills and knowledge which are essential for learners and staff to know for the world of work and for life in general.
EdTech helps teaching staff to increase and develop their knowledge around digital technologies which can help engage learners and improve their educational outcomes.
Both Essential Digital Skills and EdTech have their own frameworks and these can be accessed through the Enhanced Digital Teaching Platform. Please click here for more information.
