Google Sites is a structured website/wiki creation tool which allows users to create their own website. Having this option can allow you to create a fully operational website which can link to different pages, link to videos from YouTube and upload images from your own personal files.
Like with other Google applications, once a Google Site has been created it is automatically saved to your Google Drive. This way you will never have to worry about losing information or documents that you have created.
You can edit a Google Site together with someone else in real time, and see each other’s changes live. Publish the site for everyone to see, or restrict sharing permissions and make the site accessible only to people you want to share it with, like group project members or teachers.
With Google Sites, you can link any document or video to your created pages which you feel would be useful for your subject.

When using Google Sites, there are three main parts which allow you to add content to a webpage.
These are:
Insert - This option allows you to insert Text Boxes for written content. Images allow you to insert pictures which are relevant to what you are showing on the site. Embed allows you to put website URLs straight into your webpage. Drive allows you to input any documents from your Google Drive onto your site.
Pages - This option will allow you to create different pages which will populate your Google Site. You are also able to create sub-pages, duplicate pages and create a homepage for your site.
Themes - This option lets you change the look and feel of your Google Site. You can change the Font style, the colour of your page and it allows you to pick from a number of preset themes provided by Google Sites.
This page will provide you with a number of different videos, articles and other resources which will help you on your journey to create the best Google Site for you.
