Students communicate clearly and express themselves creatively for a variety of purposes using the platforms, tools, styles, formats and digital media appropriate to their goals. Students:
a. Choose the appropriate platforms and tools for meeting the desired objectives for their creation or communication.
b. Create original works or responsibly repurpose or remix digital resources into new creations.
c. Communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively by creating or using a variety of digital objects such as visualizations, models or simulations.
d. Publish or present content that customizes the message and medium for their intended audiences.
I believe I met this standard of being a Creative Communicator because I had to choose an appropriate app to help edit my video. I also had to create original works by using my own videos and audios and turning them into something new. I communicated complex ideas (i.e., the creation of a new class and its elements and why it's important). I had to present this content to a specific audience.
I would use video editing to edit a video for my class, whether it's because I'm gone for the day or we're enduring distance learning. By editing my video, I can delete unimportant parts or add in extra things that I want my students to look at and pay attention to while I talk in the background.
