I believe I met this standard of being a Creative Communicator because I needed to locate certain online tools for media images, quizzes, vocabulary, summaries, etc. Although I didn't create my own original works for this artifact, I spent a lot of time picking and choosing the appropriate images, quizzes, etc. that I wanted. I wanted to include them in my artifact to make my material meaningful to my students' learning and really to help break down the process of learning in terms of short-term and long-term memory. I used several different broken-down images/material forms all throughout my artifact, such as 1. walkthroughs to help introduce the material/guides for my students to look at for help 2. a simple assignment to allow students time to grasp the material 3. a review of all the new and old material to allow the student to study for the assessment and 4. a short assessment to test the material from the unit. Numbers 1-3 helped my students to work on their short-term memory and help push them more toward working on their long-term memory skills, but number 4 allows me to assess both my teaching and the memory skills of my students. This entire artifact helped me to present material that customizes the message for my students while working on their memory skills in relation to learning new material.
I would use an evaluation level identification to help me outline how fast I can go through certain material and figure out which material I need to review and which material is foundational, or important for students to go over so that they can build upon them later on.
