A bit about me.
I live in Southington, CT, and am the proud mom of three sons (29, 27, and 24) and two pups, Kahlua and Bailey. My son adopted a puppy too, so now, Bodie makes three. I started my teaching career in 1994 and am happy that I still love my job. I was Teacher of the Year for the 2022-23 school year! Kind of cool.
I enjoy traveling and experiencing new things. I have traveled to many countries including, Austria, Belgium, Canada, England, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Panama, Portugal, Scotland, Switzerland, and Turkey. I like being outdoors hiking, walking, and even doing yard work. I am a certified scuba diver and am lucky enough to have dived in some beautiful places. My favorite is Bonaire.
I am excited to share my love of travel with students. I have taken students to Spain, Greece, Portugal, France, Italy, and California. I look forward to Spring break of 2025 when we will head to Puerto Rico! I have a group going to Japan in the Summer of 2025. I love seeing students get inspired by travel.
