What to Consider When Buying/Building a House
2000 Square Foot House Design Criteria
Design a single family home with three bedrooms not to exceed 2,000 sq. ft. of floor space measured to the outside face of exterior walls.
The residence may be with or without basement, must have a garage (basement type or attached—may be of masonry or frame construction–carports will not count as a garage).
Garages, open porches, decks, unfinished incidental storage, greenhouses, and/or seasonal solar spaces, unfinished basements and attic areas will not be counted as finished living area.
Two story spaces shall be counted as one area at the floor level.
The site is a residential building lot with 100’ of frontage and 140’ of depth (site may incorporate varying topography and characteristics for additional points).
