1. Sourcing from existing suppliers or Alibaba

2. Get quotation from suppliers - and conduct the initial P&L checking

Few important points:

• • Product weight & dimensions - needs to confirm with supplier

  • Price - get the quote from supplier

  • Amazon referral fees & FBA fees - use Amazon FBA calculator to get the accurate cost base on similar products

  • Target profit margin would be 30% up

3. Once the P&L is working - ordering sample from suppliers to see quality and craftsmanship

4. Final checking before ordering

• Final P&L check - see if there is new competitor

• Final shipping cost checking with freight forwarder

• Do more testing on the golden sample

  • Aging test

  • Specification check

5. Placing order with suppliers

• Confirm the lead time and price with Supplier

• Try to negotiate down the price & MOQ as much as possible

• Confirm the lead time (as short as possible)

After sending it to supplier, we will receive a PI for arranging deposit payment. If possible, please try to negotiate with suppliers to reduce the deposit (or even without deposit payment)

6. Move your product from Sourcing pipeline to "Pre-ordering Checklist"

• Confirmed the delivery date so we can keep track of the shipment status

• double check all the details including shipping, P&L, pre-production sample, etc.

• Start working on Product packaging & User Manual - please find a freelancer to help you in artwork design.
