To ensure a consistent approach to attendance and punctuality, this policy outlines the procedures for clocking in and out, as well as the importance of timely arrival at work.
Office Hours
9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Clocking In and Out
All employees are required to use their assigned employee cards/ face recognition to clock in at the beginning of their duty and clock out at the end of their duty using the designated timekeeping system.
Employees shall not use other employees' cards to assist other employees to fake attendance records. Employees who fail to comply will face disciplinary action.
Employees are expected to arrive at work on time. Being punctual is crucial for maintaining team efficiency and productivity.
It is understood that weather, traffic conditions and elevator congestion may cause occasional late arrival. With this understanding, employees are allowed to report for work no more than 15 minutes late. With the exception of travel or other special conditions, employees with a recorded arrival time after 9:15am will be considered to be late. The Human Resources Department will review the attendance records at the end of each month and take action according to the severity of employees' tardiness.
If you anticipate being late, please notify the HK group on TEAMS with a reasonable explanation.
If you need to leave early, please inform HR and your direct supervisor in advance.
Consequences of Non-Compliance
Consistent failure to adhere to the clocking in/out procedure or repeated lateness may result in disciplinary action in accordance with company policy.
Prompt attendance is one of the factors in employees' annual assessments.
