09 Deinstall EM12103P1

Overview

After finding that I could no longer run EM12C on a 32-bit machine along with an 11.2.0.4 database instance, I decided to remove the EM12C instance and software from GRIDCTRL.

Procedure

Following the procedure in 03 Deinstall EM12CR1 and Others, I ran the following commands:

/opt/oracle/software/em12103p1/runInstaller -deinstall

Step 11: Remove OMS and Agent Plug-Ins

After clicking on Installed Products on the welcome screen, I choose the following products to be de-installed:

Clicked Remove. Got the following confirmation panel:

Clicked Yes

Waited while the products were removed.

Step 12: Remove sbin12c1 and webtier12c1 Homes

Next, I choose the following products to be de-installed:

Clicked Remove. Got the following confirmation panel:

Clicked Yes

Waited while the products were removed.

Step #13: Remove agent12c1 and common12c1 Homes

Next, I choose the following products to be de-installed:

Clicked Remove. Got the following confirmation panel:

Clicked Yes

Waited while the products were removed.

Step #15: Remove JDK

Next, I choose the following products to be de-installed:

Clicked Remove. Got the following confirmation panel:

Clicked Yes

Waited while the products were removed.

Step #16: Remove OMS Home

Next, I choose the following products to be de-installed:

Clicked Remove. On the confirmation panel, clicked Yes

Waited while the products were removed.

Then clicked Cancel to exit.
