Setting Up Self Update

Following Setting Up Self Update:

    1. Self-update was already configured
    2. No self update privileges are assigned

Deploying the Required Plug-ins

Following Deploying the Required Plug-ins, I reviewed the list of current plug-ins:

I had deployed these plug-ins during the initial installation of Cloud Control as described in 06 Install OMS 12.1.0.3.1 Again.

From the list given under Plug-ins Required to Enable Database as a Service (DBaaS), I find that I am missing the plug-in called Oracle Consolidation Planning and Chargeback. I used the Plug-in Manager Console to version 12.1.0.5.0 of this plug-in.

This plug-in took nearly 10 minutes to be deployed as shown by the results screen below:

Defining Roles and Assigning Users

Following Defining Roles and Assigning Users, I set up the following administrators:

Configuring LDAP Authentication

Configuring Privilege Delegation Settings

Following Configuring Privilege Delegation Settings, I had previously set up OEL_SUDO as shown below:

This template had previously been deployed on the following hosts:

Customizing the Self Service Login Page

No customisation was done as described in Customizing the Self Service Login Page since this is a test deployment of a private cloud.
