Position OverDriver

Creates a new control setup to follow a separate hierarchy from the rig control that drives the translation of the rig control. Rotation will remain controlled by the original parent.

This is used when you want to the control to continue to follow the rotation of it's parent but want the translation to be handled by a separate hierarchy.

Details:

  • On creation the new control will bake the animation from the control it will drive after creating it's parent relationships so that you retain the world space animation that is currently on the rig.

  • On removal it will follow your Remove Component Settings 'Revert Animation' setting.

    • If un-checked the OverDriver control will bake it's animation back down to the rig control

    • If checked the OverDriver animation will be thrown out and the rig control will revert back to the animation curves that were present when the OverDriver was created.
