Space Switching, or OverDrivers, come in four forms in the Freeform toolset, and is at the core of making this rigging system truly freeform.
Temporarily changing the parent of a rig control so that the animator can have the control follow along with the animation of another scene object, create a new pivot location for the control, or animate the original parent without effecting the control.
Used as a rig constraining system to create motion relationships between different rig components. Such as having a reverse foot component control the IK component on the leg.
Create Dynamic animation on a rig control.
Allows exposing attribute channels within a character out to rig controls, either as a channel on an existing control, or by converting a control's motion in the scene back to the attribute.
