URBAN THEME: Urban Innovation
Artist's Bio: I'm an artist passionate about transforming data into visual narratives and solving real-world problems through spatial analysis. My work blends skills in Physical Geography and Architecture, focusing on cartography, hydrology, urban planning, and data visualization. Recently, I was globally selected as one of two artists in residence for the EGU23 General Assembly in Vienna, where I continue to unravel the intricacies of our world through compelling visual stories.
Artist's statement: My art is inspired by the intricate patterns of nature, urban landscapes, and hydrological systems. I draw influence from the potential of data to reveal hidden narratives and the power of visual storytelling to make complex ideas accessible. Interdisciplinary collaboration and the intersection of science and art shape my work, driving me to explore new perspectives and techniques.
