Artist's statement: My art practice is inspired by the interconnectedness of nature, architecture, and human experience in Calgary's urban landscape. Through my work, I aim to create vibrant and inclusive spaces that bring people together, such as a dynamic playground for children to explore and learn, and a serene oasis in Bowness where people can unwind, enjoy local food, and connect with others amidst lush greenery and inviting seating areas. By harmonizing natural and built elements, I strive to craft immersive experiences that encourage Calgarians to slow down, appreciate their surroundings, and forge meaningful connections with their community.
