Greater depth?

I asked all teachers what skills they thought children who showed 'greater depth' in maths had compared to those children who were 'at expected'. We found it hard to define but these are the words that staff recorded:

I then cut up the skills and gave them to groups of teachers. They had to categorise them in any way they chose. It was a good open-ended activity which provided a good stimulus for discussion. We talked about how most of the skills could apply to different lessons across the curriculum.
