Giving Nature a Break
Right now Reading, Pa sits in a food Desert. Our primary source for food are all driven in. Our Grandparents knew of a variety of food on small lots of land. Our parents had a tree or two but didn’t grow enough to last a Winter. But in my time there was the Orange Cart Down by the river. We didn’t need to grow anything because this was fruit from Florida at Christmas. My generation saw the change over from the Slaughterhouse by the Bingamen Street bridger to plastic wrap in freezers. Now comes our grown children Don’t even have an idea how to plant a seed. Our grandchildren think Nature is something to fight against. This isn’t about blame. Just about awareness. Let’s add too the fact than our main sources of Potash, Phosphate are in worn torn areas of the World and are growing in short supply. The area we live in has been heavy industry since our Great, Great, Great Grandparents. Polluting the area for hundreds of miles around. This has ben going on for two centuries. It’s gotten so bad we have a MAJOR Forest fire raging across the whole planet three times a day. It never stops. Saddest part is it’s effecting us as well. The food that would make us heal is expensive. Expensive because we have forgotten how. For all of these problems I have a method of Agriculture called
“The Gardens of Ease”
It uses Anaerobic Fauna in relation with the plant to feed each other. Also because it’s in a sealed container you get near 100% water use because water can only transpire thru the leaves. The container can be set on wet. grass, asphalt, concrete even polluted land. This is what I mean by “Giving Nature a Break”. The city has many lots and spaces just collecting sunlight. The Bio-Warrior program will teach from grade school thru college Veterans, handicapped, disabled, mentally challenged, the aged and the prison members a easy very low cost method of earning a living.
Lesson One
You have to “see” the different types of roots different plants have. This is where 80% of what goes on with a plant go’s on. Unseen. That stuff that sets in the sunlight, The stuff you can see. That’s how it reproduces. The parts that make you want to eat it! To spread it around. But here we’re taking the support system of dirt away from the roots.
Small plants or large trees

But this is where you get your hands dirty
Lesson Two
Yeah, I know a big word but sometimes their the only way to express what's going on. Most plants produce strong tap roots unless trained other wise. That were the upcycling comes along. The creation of the insert is how it's done. When roots grow inground they become thicker in time. But absorb less nutrients. By forcing the roots thru those small slots means you have a lot more surfaces to nutrient absorption.
Lesson Three
WATER
Water...the source of all life on this planet. Clean freah water is so common to us that we take it for granted.
Water is Naturally given ferrly from the Sky
All we have to do is figure out to catch it
Not just catch it but figure what you can do with it
This might be a perception problem with my way of thinking. See I prepared the root system my normal way. Took me till now to realize might have killed the tree. Disturbing the roots like that. All I can do is wait till Spring. Glad I learned it before I invested much more. Thinking this time around about getting more Cherry trees. Would like to get 4 more cherries this time.
These are a few examples of growing roots with air. The first picture is a frozen bucket of water holding the roots frozen to the bottom of the bucket. The 2nd is how fast the roots grew with the air added. But the one thing I learned growing this way was how roots stop growing after you move the way the roots lose air aborbsion when you lift to check them. So the point being I'm going to start one of the Cherry trees by adding air. I'll still grow the other in dirt. Of course I'm thinking why with sucess working with air why not both.

THEIR WAKING UP
MARCH 12 2025
Well, the trees at the school are waking up. Their in full sun all winter. There were days and nights of freezing temps and they were sitting in buckets of water. And their waking up. In two weeks I’ll begin to fertile. It’s hard to explain how you fret all Winter about what I already know is going to happen. The system works. For years I had the dreaded Spring vibe. Then to see the first crack of green fighting for sunlight. These trees have been sitting in the same Anaerobic water for a year. Yes, if you pull the insert you get that smell. But the roots like it just fine. I think I explained my thoughts about that else where.
