Does this feature have much to do with the old highway? Not a ton. But it is a cool place and it is close enough to the highway... So, interesting wins out over relevance here.
There is also a rail stop or settlement marked "Dune" on the 1933 map, near where the sand pours down the cliffs to the highway. I may move this page to fit that location later. As it is, either way, the spice must flow!
