Most of the old highway through this area is actually the upgraded U. S. 30 route. Some of it follows the original Columbia River Highway route, much of it does not.
Between the Deschutes River and Biggs, this is one of the few (so far) confirmed fragments of the original highway.

Digging through some old digital archives, I found some photos that I think are thought were from this fragment, but I am not certain, but I was wrong, so don't be mad if you check this one out and it looks different, just let me know!
(Note to self... This is why it is bad to wait six years to post my photos!)
Fulton Canyon Fragment (I think?) Nah, it's the western Arch Fragment, but this is a looks very similar!
