Franki Berliner (they/them) is a Licensed Associate Counselor in the state of New Jersey. Franki graduated from Stockton University in 2022 with a master’s in clinical mental health counseling, and two years prior graduated with a bachelor’s in psychology from the same university. Franki also minored in holistic health and childhood studies during their undergraduate years. Franki is currently working on getting dual licensure for California and New Jersey. Franki believes that therapy is for everyone and anyone and welcomes all people, regardless of race, gender, sex, or any other identity. Franki has experience working with kids as young as five years old, teenagers, to adults, as well as a variety of different identities. Franki strives to build rapport with clients to make sure they feel safe and comfortable exploring the vulnerable topics therapy can lead to. Franki’s modality of therapy is eclectic, with a mix of Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Gender-Affirming Care, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy being the main focuses.
