Psychotherapist Mona Suhail, LSW

I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW), working towards my clinical license under the supervision of a Licensed Clinical Social Worker(LCSW). I am a Rutgers University graduate with a clinical concentration and a passion for helping each individual, from children to older adults, of diverse ethnicities and backgrounds, for building upon their strengths to promote their well-being for a positive treatment outcome. I work in a therapeutic alliance with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, family conflict, substance use, and co-occurring mental health issues to improve and support their well-being. I also provide Anger Management Counseling and teach skills to reduce DUI recidivism. I utilize various therapy modalities, including CBT, DBT, Motivational interviewing, and Solution-focused, in my sessions. I follow a holistic and multidisciplinary strengths-based approach focused on individuals’ strengths to feel empowered and supported in their daily functioning.
