Life is full of uncertainty and challenges that may feel beyond our control. While some challenges may be easier to overcome, others are much more daunting. Suffering alone with these feelings can prevent us from living a well-balanced life.
Putting your well-being at the forefront of your life can be unnerving and may motivate you to reach out for extra support. Making this decision to engage in therapy is difficult to do. Therefore, it is important for me to make this process easier by providing a safe, comfortable, and judgment free environment for you to express yourself.
As your therapist, I will empower you to achieve emotional resilience through self-exploration. Collaboratively, we can work towards making positive changes in your life by managing negative thought patterns, improving self-awareness, and identifying triggers to mental regressions. Although this process can be both relieving and taxing, I am here to walk this journey with you as an ear to listen and a guide to wellness. Above all, I believe establishing a strong therapeutic relationship, where you feel valued and heard, is the foundation to a successful recovery.
Although I work primarily from a Cognitive-Behavior (CBT) and Mindfulness perspective, I integrate Existentialism, Dialectical-Behavior therapy (DBT), and other methods that will meet client’s specific needs and desired outcomes. My experience includes working with adolescents and adults, of a diverse client base, in individual, home, outpatient, and group settings.
