Karen Yeboah-Norment is a dual board-certified family and psychiatric nurse practitioner. Helping patients achieve their mental health goals in the primary care outpatient setting became her passion, which led Karen to return to school to earn her psychiatric nurse practitioner certificate in not only treating her patients physically, but mentally as well. Karen obtained her MSN degree in Family Nurse Practitioner at The College of New Jersey in 2016 and her Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner certification from Wilkes University in 2021. Karen has experience in treating a wide range of psychiatric conditions including ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Postpartum depression, PTSD, and Substance dependence. As a dual board-certified nurse practitioner, she is confident that she will have a positive impact on her patient's health using her knowledge, education and warmth to help individuals take control of their own health in promoting personal wellness, preventing illness and delivering enhanced perspective and current evidence-based practice to ensure her patients receive the highest standards of care possible. Aside from her career, Karen enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, watching movies, shopping, and attending educational seminars. Karen believes Nursing is a calling, and despite the challenges that we face, the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others is a daily blessing.
