Hi my name is Jeanine Beck, I am a Licensed Social Worker in the State of New Jersey. I have been a practicing Social Worker for 29 years having worked with many different populations in many different areas throughout my career. I received my Bachelor of Social Work from Monmouth College in 1993 and my Master of Social Work from Rutgers University in 1996. I have experience working with adolescents as well as people of all ages suffering from: depression; anxiety; substance abuse; co-occurring disorders; HIV/AIDS infected and affected; LGBTQ population; people with legal involvement; worked as a Psychotherapist in County Jails as well as New Jersey State Prison in Trenton, NJ; in addition to many more areas. I have extensive experience working with people in individual therapy; family therapy; group therapy to list some of my experience. I believe every single person should be treated as an individual as well as helping people be a large part of their treatment and help them achieve their goals. My goal is to go where the individual is in their lives and utilize: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT); Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT); Mindfulness; Motivational Interviewing; strengths-based and solution-focused therapy modalities to list a few. I look forward to working together with you to help you reach your goals and move forward to where you want to be in life in a safe, comfortable, environment where you feel you are meeting your goals.
