This map shows Yoshitsune's path from Katsu-ura beach, to Yashima. Starting from Katsu-ura, Yoshitsune leads his forces through Ozaka Pass on a two day march towards the Heike stationed at Yashima.
This map shows they area of the final naval battle between the Genji and the Heike. The battle took place in the stretch of water between Akama-no-seki and Moji-no-seki.
This map details the return trip to Kamakura that Yoshitsune took with the Heike captives. While on this journey, many of the Heike prisoners were publicly shamed by being transported in open carriages. This map is an approximate of the path Yoshitsune took based on locations mentioned in The Tale of the Heike. It is also believed that Yoshitsune followed Tokaido road, an image of which has been provided below for comparison.
