From time to time, we have received various notes and anecdotes which have been written by and about Patricians, documenting aspects of their life and achievements, school recollections ad so on. These are briefly summarized below and can be viewed by clicking on the links in the list or from the table of files which appear below the list. Further contributions are welcome.

Recollections in Detail
Peter Norden (59-67) is well-known to many Patricians partly due to his many years at St Pat’s and also because of his work in connection with the general area of Social Justice, and specifically the support he has provided to many people (and their families) who have experienced some time in prison.
In recent times, Peter has reflected on his school years and has produced a document of over 100 pages of recollections and photos, including stories involving notable personalities, sporting and other events, and school-related activities. The result is a file which is too large to be added here, but a few chapter headings (below) give an idea of the breadth and depth of his work:
St Patrick’s Day March with Arch Mannix; The Magpies Lost, so Know Your French Vocabulary; Army Cadets on Wednesday Afternoons; Rupertswood Athletics; Taking on Xavier College’s 2nd XVIII; Dancing Classes & the Prefects’ Ball at The Victoria; Retreat Days at Loyola: a Possible Vocation; Old Jesuits and New Jesuits – the Changing Guard; and many others.
Although Peter hasn’t gone as far as having these memories put in print formally, he has nevertheless printed a number of copies of the document, and is willing to make them available to any interested Patricians. Readers who might like to follow up Peter’s offer could contact him directly (peter.norden@gmail.com) to arrange for a copy to be posted (although he hasn’t suggested it, some assistance with postage might be useful?).
