Description
Our laboratory serves as actual national tuberculosis reference laboratory in Japan, and as supra-national reference laboratory in the Western Pacific.
Structure and organization
Bacteriology division is a part of the Research Institute of Tuberculosis.
Services provided by the SRL
All mycobacterial examinations, including smear, culture, species identification, drug susceptibility testing, molecular examinations and consultations to other laboratories.
Current links and partnerships outside of SRLN
The Research Institute of Tuberculosis has official link with Nagasaki University and accept post-graduate students.
