2018

2017

• • The yearly proficiency panel for EQA of M tuberculosis. 

  • The Sudanese NRL was visited by Melles Haile to discuss results of the ongoing Drug Resistance Survey. One zonal TB laboratory was also visited.  

  • The Drug Resistance Survey in Sudan - External Quality Assurance for Drug Susceptibility Testing provided by the Supranational Reference Laboratory for Tuberculosis in Stockholm was reported.

2016

• • The yearly proficiency panel for EQA of M tuberculosis. 

  • The Sudanese NRL was visited by Sven Hoffner and Melles Haile where a biosafety workshop was organized.

2015

• • The yearly proficiency panel for EQA of M tuberculosis DST was sent.

  • The Sudanese NRL in Khartoum was visited by Melles Haile in order to follow up the plans for a countrywide DRS and to plan for a three day workshop in biosafety and laboratory infection control (which was given in May 2016). 

2014

• • The Sudanese NRL in Khartoum was visited by Sven Hoffner and Melles Haile in order to discuss and improve QMS and give a workshop on QMS and bio-safety

  • The yearly proficiency panel for EQA of M tuberculosis DST was sent.
