STAR 360 is a universal short cycle assessment we use to monitor student growth and learning in math and Reading.
The computer-adaptive tests continually adjust the difficulty of a student’s test by choosing each test question based on responses to previous questions. This saves testing time and spares students the frustration of items that are too difficult and the boredom of items that are too easy.
The STAR 360 results and reports are used to monitor student growth throughout the year, to estimate students' understanding of state standards, and predict students' overall performance in the classroom. More importantly, STAR 360 results help teachers determine appropriate instructional levels for students and skills that students are ready to learn.
