Driving Question: How do different types of scientists work together to solve a crime?
Project Problem + Purpose: How does evidence help forensic scientists solve mysteries? We will learn about forensic scientists, what they do and how they use evidence and clues to solve mysteries even from hundreds of years ago. Through hands-on activities and experiments, we will analyze aspects of various crimes. The field of forensic science draws from a number of scientific branches, including physics, chemistry, and biology, with its focus being on the recognition, identification, and evaluation of physical evidence. It has become an essential part of the judicial system, as it utilizes a broad spectrum of sciences to achieve information relevant to criminal and legal evidence.
It has been a challenging project since day one, given the nature of forensic science. The scope of forensic science is broad. We are thrilled by the passion and hard work our students have put into the class. Each piece of work has not only showed their talents but also the diligence and heedfulness.
