Working on a presentation for Dhyana Yoga .. i was thinking about coming up with tag line for this ... I came up with *State of No Mind* ... then it hit on me with the following understanding ...
*Karma Yoga is when Kartha is absent and only Karma (action) is present
Bhagavan says do not think of Karmaphala truly means Karta is absent only Karma is present
*Bhakti Yoga is when Bhakta is absent only the LORD is present*
*Dhyana yoga is when Mind is absent only the witness is present*
*Jnana Yoga is when Jnani is absent only THAT (ASI) is present*
*Jnana is loosely translated in English as knowledge as an Information. On the name of knowledge we are just hoarding more and more information. But where is JNANA ... the real essence? That is why knowledge is good to progress towards it but for becoming the real essence or JNANA the same knowledge fails us.
Very hard to digest this fact but think over it. If the knowledge is JNANA then lot of pandits and scholars of Vedas would have been Jnani's by now.
