Question: What is difference between heart Chakra in traditional Chakra system and sahajmarg heart Chakra? Why their location different ?
IN Tantrashashtra all the 7 chakras are along with the spinal cord; In Heartfulness all the chakras which are idnetifed are along the frontal side. This is the fundamental difference.
Along the spinal cord the energy from the chakras is flowing down, all the yogic practices whether tantric or hatayoga work on stimulating these chakras and trying to push the energy upwards which is against the natural flow. Which could result in shattering the nerves system along the spinal cord. This is method can be determental and harmful in many cases.
Where as in heartfunless we divert the part of the flow along with the frontal points where there is no stimulation involves and nerves system is intact.
Hearfulness identified total 5 points in the chest area Point 1 is known as the heart point along with subpoints A,B,C,D which are located as shown in the diagram.
In HFN all the characteristics of the heart are distributed along the 5 points in the heart region. Where as in traditional chakras it starts from Muladhara which is similar to earth element.

This chakra is located at the level of Thymus gland. Again along the spinal cord as i mentioned. Thymus produces TCells which are very important in developing immunity. Modern medicine says by introducing TCell near cancer cell it will destroy the cancer cell.
That was a side note.
Anahata is the seat of Poesy. Concentration on this Chakra can develop one’s talent as an author or poet. Another power arising from Anahata Chakra is Sankalpa Shakti, the power to fulfil desires. When you wish for a desire to be fulfilled concentrate on it in your heart. The purer your Anahata Chakra, the more swiftly the wish will be fulfilled.
The animal designated to represent Anahata Chakra is the Antelope, which reminds us of attentiveness and alertness. The Divinities of this Chakra are Shiva and Parvati, representative of Consciousness and Nature. Both should unite in harmony in this Chakra.
