Question-
*How can this be explained to new person?I do not understand how feeling comes from thinking? When I think I just think not feel; how is thinking and feeling related?*
*Sk:* Thinking to feeling we do it all the time in our daily lives. If I remember ice cream we automatically we feel the taste it, from my earlier experience. I want to make it a reality again then i get the same ice cream and eat it. If we think of a person we like the most, suddenly our heart is filled with the joy and longing to be with that person. At the same time we feel the cherished moments with that individual. If we think of a person whom we don't like, it follows the feeling of hatred and anger. Did we not move from thinking to feeling in the above mentioned examples. If we observe carefully we remember or think with mind and feeling of it is reflected in our hearts almost instantly. *To feel anything i need to have a prior experience of it or association with it. The memory or thought of it the feeling follows almost instantaneously and very naturally. I do not have to consciously tell my self that now i am thinking and now i am feeling.*
All these feelings are our experiences or associations with external elements or situations (At the physical level, mental level and emotional level). Which our consciousness and mind can relate to it very easily, they are all very tangible.
Now coming to the aspect of meditation, we are going inwards and experiencing the most subtlest states which mind cannot comprehend very easily. But through repeated experience of these states, we gain certain perception of it. Then we try to internalize, remember this state. By remembering we can produce this state or feel this state very naturally. Here it appears like a process , it requires certain attention on our part in the beginning as things are not as tangible as in the external world. But slowly even this too becomes natural. In heartfulness we move through infinite stages and states. We also get accustomed to these changing states and will be able to feel them as well.
Again even in the process of internalizing the thinking to feeling becomes natural as well. No need to differentiate between thinking and feeling as both states go hand in hand.
