Why Cooking still matters, even when I am “too tired to stir”.

Well, we all have to eat. Proper nutrition, especially when you are “down and out,” is very important to both of us. My husband doesn’t cook often because, in his words, “I can’t cook like you do”; he is, however, a powerhouse at ordering out for pickup or just running somewhere to grab something for us both. The very first recipe in this book is of one of HIS meals that he cooks amazingly.

For me, though, I have to think ahead and plan for days like this that I am just too tired to stir.

So, I have two choices. Figure out some very quick, healthy meals AGS friendly, that will not “kick my bum” in the process, or decide to take the “good” days and Mass cook 2-4 meals that I can put in the freezer for “0 spoon days.   Well, let’s just say I do both.  I have learned that if anything, I have to keep us healthy no matter what, and food is one of the best ways to do that. And let’s face it, we both LOVE good, no, Great food. So, I cook for our health and because it brings me so much joy.
