Mamleshwar Jyotirlinga

ममलेश्वर ज्योतिर्लिंग का सही नाम अमलेश्वर मंदिर है। यह मंदिर भी पञ्च मंजिला मंदिर है हर मंजिल पर शिवालय है | इस मंदिर प्रांगण में छह मंदिर और भी हैं |पत्थर के बेहतरीन कला वाला यह मंदिर अब पुरातत्व के अधीन है | देवी अहिल्या बाई के समय से यहाँ शिव पार्थिव पूजन होता रहा है,मंदिर की दीवालो पर शिव महिम्न स्त्रोत्र शिलालेख के रूप में है जो की १०६३ AD से दिनांकित है | मान्यता है कि ज्योतिर्लिंग दर्शन का पुण्य तब ही प्राप्त होता है जब ममलेश्वर एवं ओंकारेश्वर ज्योतिर्लिंग दोनो के दर्शन किये जाये।

The right name of Mamaleshwar Jyotirlinga is Amaleshwar Temple. This temple is also a five-storeyed temple, there is a Shivalaya on each floor. There are six more temples in this temple complex. This temple with fine stone art is now under archeology. Since the time of Goddess Ahilya Bai, Shiva Parthiv worship has been done here, Shiva is in the form of Mahima Stotra inscription on the walls of the temple which is dated from 1083. It is believed that the merit of Jyotirlinga philosophy is attained only when both Mamaleshwar and Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga are seen.
