Dharmraj Dwar

परिक्रमा पथ पर स्थित धर्मराज द्वार से लगा हुए करीब 4 किलोमीटर की एक चहारदीवारी है, जिसके बारे में कहा जाता है कि इसे परमार शासकों ने 11वीं शताब्दी में बनवाया था। इस चहारदीवारी के अंदर अनेक परमारकालीन मंदिर बने हुए थे, जिनके अवशेष आज भी हैं। कहा जाता है कि मांधाता दुर्ग का पश्चिमी द्वार अपने समय में एक विशेष महत्व रखता था जो बाद के समय में भी बना रहा। पथ पर पड़ने वाले द्वारों के नाम वहां पर स्थापित मूर्तियों के नाम पर रखे गए हैं। बीते समय में हो सकता हो कि यहां पर यमराज की मूर्ति स्थापित हो इसलिए इस द्वार का नाम धर्मराज द्वार रखा गया है। यह द्वार पत्थरों के टुकड़ों से निर्मित है। यहां सुरक्षा में लगे सैनिकों के लिए दो कक्ष का भी निर्माण कराया गा था। इन कक्षों में प्रवेश के लिए पत्थरों की सीढि़यां बनाई गई हैं। साथ ही यह द्वारा परमारकालीन अलंकृत स्तम्भों पर आधारित है।

Situated on the Parikrama Path, there is a boundary wall of about 4 kilometers adjoining the Dharmaraja gate, which is said to have been built by the Paramara rulers in the 11th century. Many parmaric temples were built inside this boundary wall, whose remains are still there. It is said that the western gate of Mandhata Durg had a special significance in its time which remained in later times as well. The gates on the path are named after the idols installed there. In the past, there may be a statue of Yamraj installed here, so this gate is named Dharmaraja Gate. This gate is made of pieces of stone. Two rooms were also constructed here for the soldiers engaged in security. Staircases have been made for entering these rooms. It is also based on elaborate columns elaborate by time.
