A collection of useful resources
I don’t have the full details in front of me, but the following should hopefully answer your query:
1. Students can use any external content from any source as long as it is acknowledged.
2. The purpose of acknowledgement is so that markers wont consider that element as the student’s own work
3. Copyrighted material is fine (see point 1) but will preclude the use of the film in some festivals and / or perspectives
4. Royalty free music means just that. As long as it is licensed properly then you can use it for any purpose it is licensed for.
5. Acknowledgements go on the specific sheet (they don’t need to be in the films).
6. I don’t believe you need to specify where it is used.
7. You can use external content only up to a certain amount - Best check what this is, but using externally sourced music throughout is absolutely fine. It is more to do with using stock footage or archival footage.
I hope this helps? :)
