The Matrix

Hi All

I let my Year 12 General class choose a genre film to study and they have chosen The Matrix. I haven’t taught it before, but I image a lot of teachers have. Is anyone willing to share some resources that I could use as a starting point?

I have done The Matrix before, but with my Year 10 class. I've attached a link to some work from 2022:

If you look at Task 1 and 2 you will find assessments and resources built around The Matrix.

Task 1 was analysing the posters and promotional material for the film whilst Task 2 required students to produce an infographic that demonstrates their understanding of the production context and influences along with how the film overall met the expectations of the audience.

With Task 1, I completed this as a Google Form quiz with a combination of multiple choice questions and short and long answer responses. I've attached a link for what this looked like below:
