CS Ed Week @ PS 48

Have some fun teaching math and literacy through computer science.  It sounds more technical than it has too.  It's more about helping students think a little bit differently, creatively, analytically, and making connections to the ways they are already experiencing coding, computers, and data.  Even in kindergarten!  Read on for resources and photos from prior CS Ed Weeks @ PS 48 at the bottom of this page.

Computer Science (CS) @ PS 48

Every year student and teacher computer scientists explore algorithms (directions), sequencing (first step, second step...), loops (repeating), and conditionals (if, then) as part of the PS 48 CS Ed Week.

Check out the different hop scotch algorithms created.
