Use the Journal to Learn New Words and Phrases in English!
Print out the version you want (French-English or Spanish-English). Write the word or phrase in both languages. Draw a picture or example to remember the word or phrase. Then write a sentence using the word or phrase in both languages. Make connections in your mind between the languages!

Tips for Using the Bilingual Vocabulary Journal
- Use Google Translate to help understand certain words, phrases, and ideas.
- Use it in all your classes, and at home. Put extra copies of the paper in your folder. Always use it, especially in math class!
- Remember to write the sentence. This helps you become confident writing in your new language!
