The expanding field of artificial inteligence (AI) is providing great tools to analyse human movement. We explored the validity of an AI to analyse lower limb movement during cycling. Our findings were that, even using a low quality video, the AI tracked hip and knee joint angles quite well. However, ankle and foot motion require high quality and increased frame rate to obtain accurate results. This finding indicates that, practicioners need to invest in high quality cameras to obtain video that will be suitable for AI.
