The episodes combine elements of science fiction and western genres. It is set in the 23rd century on a multi-cultural desert planet called New Texas. The setting in most episodes is New Texas: a planetary system orbiting three suns, 600 parsecs (1957 light-years) from Earth. Much of the food and water supply is imported. The majority of land is desert; but there is one wetland area, which is the home of "apecats". Water is also found in cactus-like 'Aqua-Pod' plants. The chief export is Kerium: a red mineral used as a fuel source, and often therefore the prize of conflicts among characters. Implications exist that New Texas was colonized for Kerium, but will remain inhabited even after the mines are exhausted. The native civilization of New Texas are the Prairie People, who operate most of the Kerium mines.

In the deserts of New Texas, a trio of outlaw dingoes on Turbo-Mules are robbing Stratocoaches. Lawman Marshal BraveStarr and his best friend and partner, the equestroid Thirty/Thirty, stake out a ravine in wait of the outlaws.

As they wait for the outlaws to pass, BraveStarr and Thirty/Thirty have a debate about tactics. BraveStarr states his conviction that firearms should only be drawn in self-defence, and that his deputy has been too quick on the draw of late. However, Thirty/Thirty, who relies on the powerful weapon of his forefathers, which he calls Sara Jane, disagrees as he relies on Sara Jane for security over everything else.

When the outlaws arrive, BraveStarr jumps down into the ravine uses 'Speed of the Puma' to catch up to them and arrest them. However, Thirty/Thirty attempts to use Sara Jane to stop the outlaws but misses, and the blast causes a landslide of rocks, blocking BraveStarr's pursuit and allowing the outlaws to escape.

BraveStarr and Thirty/Thirty return to Fort Kerium where they have an argument in the Marshal's Office. BraveStarr accuses Thirty/Thirty of being reckless and trigger happy. BraveStarr then goes off to apprehend the outlaws alone, which he does successfully. He brings the outlaws back to Fort Kerium and asks Deputy Fuzz to lock them up in the cells.

Meanwhile, Thirty/Thirty has wandered off into the desert, feeling angry with BraveStarr. However, BraveStarr did not take it as a serious argument like his friend, and has not even realised that Thirty/Thirty was upset. When BraveStarr realises that his friend is missing, he seeks information from Judge J.B. McBride, worried that Tex Hex may have kidnapped him. However J.B. tells BraveStarr that Tex Hex has been quiet lately, and Thirty/Thirty has probably wandered off because he feels like he and BraveStarr are no longer friends. J.B. also reminds BraveStarr that they have a tough and dangerous job, and BraveStarr has probably been too hard on Thirty/Thirty.

BraveStarr races to the Hall of Equestroids, the ruin where Thirty/Thirty's people once resided. He catches up to Thirty/Thirty, but Thirty/Thirty tells BraveStarr that he is going somewhere where he feels appreciated, and vanishes. Masonry then begins to crumble and fall, and BraveStarr has to use Speed of the Puma to evade the falling rocks.

BraveStarr goes to seek guidance and advice from his mystic confidant, the Shaman at Starr Peak. Shaman explains to BraveStarr that Thirty/Thirty has like BraveStarr gone to seek counsel from his people. BraveStarr is confused, since Thirty/Thirty is the last of his people. Shaman explains that the lingering power of the Equestroids has fulfilled Thirty/Thirty's desire and transported him back in time, to when the Hall of Equestroids was a flourishing city and Thirty/Thirty was feared and respected as its mightiest warrior.

Shaman has the magic spell to similarly transport BraveStarr and himself back in time. However upon communing with Great Equus, it becomes clear that Thirty/Thirty has lost all knowledge of the present, and he is currently guarding the chamber where Sara Jane resides and BraveStarr will have to battle him again like when they first met. BraveStarr attempts to apologise, but Great Equus is not interested; as he says, 'actions speak louder than words'. BraveStarr will have to prove he is worthy of Thirty/Thirty's companionship, since Thirty/Thirty will have to remember and want to return to the present. If he loses, they will both be lost in the past forever.

BraveStarr and Thirty/Thirty battle. BraveStarr and Thirty/Thirty battle, like they did when they first met. Although Thirty/Thirty almost gets the upper hand, BraveStarr remembers their first battle and is able to outmanoeuvre Thirty/Thirty using his foreknowledge. BraveStarr also uses Strength of the Bear to survive his opponents strikes and a cave-in of rocks. Eventually Thirty/Thirty relents, accepts that BraveStarr is not a thief after Sara Jane, and suddenly remembers everything. After BraveStarr and Thirty/Thirty shake hands, in a glowing energy field they are both magically transported into the present and into the chamber of Shaman atop Starr Peak, where Shaman awaits with a proud and knowing smile.

Jingles Morgan, a former trainer at the Galactic Marshal Academy and mentor to Marshal BraveStarr in his younger years, visits New Texas. However, the circumstances of Morgan's visit are unfortunate and tragic - Morgan has fallen from grace and is now a fugitive, wanted for murder, and is seeking refuge with Tex Hex's gang. BraveStarr will now have to confront his former idol, and see if the student has surpassed the master, if he is to bring Morgan to justice.

Ghostly outlaw and BraveStarr's nemesis Tex Hex captures a space freighter full of precious kerium ore, and holds everyone there hostage, including the mayor and a visiting dignitary. Even the mighty BraveStarr will need help with this situation.

The Planetary Union sends a Cygnian ambassador to New Texas appraise Mayor Derringer of Fort Kerium. Initially satisfied with the way the town is being run, the ambassador unfortunately sees Marshal BraveStarr sleeping on the job and resolves to make a damning report because of it, and promises to have BraveStarr fired and replaced.

Meanwhile, a massive freighter called the Thistledown 123 has docked with the spaceport of the town and been filled up with kerium, ready to depart. Unfortunately, Tex Hex and his gang takes this opportunity to infiltrate the freighter and take it over, taking the mayor and the ambassador hostage in the process. The ambassador cannot breathe in the atmosphere of New Texas, and with the air in his spacesuit running out, the denizens of Fort Kerium may be forced to obey Tex Hex's commands.

BraveStarr's clumsy sidekick Deputy Fuzz, an alien mole-man, finds out that his evil cousin Skuzz wants to betray the Prairie People Settlement to the Carrion Bunch.

Deputy Fuzz becomes trapped with his cousin, Outlaw Scuzz in an underground chamber with the largest boulder of kerium ever seen. The cousins are already at loggerheads since Deputy Fuzz works for Marshal BraveStarr and Outlaw Scuzz works for Tex Hex, but the presence of the huge kerium deposit causes even further friction. The Prairie People have constructed a forcefield around the giant kerium nugget, but Scuzz's repeated attempts to access it for his master threaten to cause a meltdown.

Twangli, a dogmatic and overzealous Galactic Court of Justice delegate, visits the New Texas judge, J.B. McBride. Twangli's audit causes problems for the judge and Marshal BraveStarr, just as a dangerous conflict is brewing between ranchers and miners.

Twangli, an observer for the Galactic Court of Justice, is sent to Fort Kerium to check up on Judge J.B. McBride and McBride's efficiency and adherence to protocol. The initial meeting between them is not good (not least of all since Marshal BraveStarr writes Twangli a parking ticket for leaving her spacecraft in the middle of the street), and the situation is complicated by a territorial dispute between a group of solacow ranchers and kerium miners in nearby Hydrogen Valley. The dispute quickly escalates into an armed conflict. Unfortunately, J.B. has given permits to both groups to make use of Hydrogen Valley at the same time, and Twangli admits that she is after J.B.'s job and J.B. has given her cause to replace her.

When Marshal BraveStarr answers a distress call, he leaves Thirty/Thirty grooming himself at the Marshal's Office. BraveStarr rescues the boy Altrian from a pack of dingo raiders, who then leads BraveStarr to his village where the villagers disappeared in a bizarre sandstorm. While BraveStarr tries to unravel the mystery and locate the villagers, Thirty/Thirty goes berserk, tearing up the Hexagon when the dingoes incorrectly tell him Tex Hex has kidnapped BraveStarr.

Former Galactic Marshal Lucas Conway’s reluctance to use his gun when faced by villains seems like cowardice in the eyes of his son Mark. When Mark is captured by the villain Two Face, Lucas and BraveStarr must storm his fortress for a rescue, and Lucas must pickup his gun one more time in an effort to save his son .

Young Prairy Person Wimble chooses Thirty/Thirty to be his temporary (foster) father. When BraveStarr doubts Thirty/Thirty's abilities to take care of the kid, Thirty/Thirty enrolls Wimble in Miss Jenny's class at Fort Kerium. But Dingo outlaw Howler sets a trap for BraveStarr derailing Wimble and his classmates when they go on a field trip.

Tex Hex can prove - by fraud - to be owner of a Kerium Claim. BraveStarr resigns from his post as Marshall. Can Bravestarr prove Tex Hex does not really owe the Kerium Claims before it's to late.

Some of the human prospectors become jealous of the Prairie People who have much better luck finding Kerium. Tex Hex takes advantage of the situation, trying to instigate a war between the settlers and the Prairie folk.

Agnes Mcbride gets kidnap while working on a story. One of Agnes ex girlfriends arrives in New Texas on an assignment. Can she help J.B and Bravstarr rescue Agnes before it's to late.

When two alien schoolboys fall under Tex Hex's spell, he uses them in a plan to divert Bravestarr and capture the Shaman.

Borka would like to take the law into the own hands and finally bring the terror of Tex Hex to an end. He spurs the settlers away from Kerium.

BraveStarr, Thirty/Thirty and J.B. venture into the Badlands in search of a wild boy who was raised by Dingoes. They find Wild Child as well as the legendary Lost City.

Handlebar pass comes to back to hunt him, when Space Pirates, come to New Texas, which are part of his former gang. Try to get him to open up Fort Kerium, and after BraveStarr, and J.B. look into his record, that shows that he was a fromer Space Pirate.

lly Kingston, comes for a shipment of pure Kerium, to take to Galactic Vision Laboratory, when Tex Hex comes and attacks the town, and Marshal BraveStarr used his ax to put his Skull Walker out of commission, for a while. He end up getting 'bucked' off, and later on Ally finds, him, using her ears and special audio headset, that picks up him, up for she is blind.

When the war-like Krang comes to New Texas to test the ultimate weapon, Bravestarr must destroy it, aided by a Krang doctor who realizes that so powerful a weapon should not exist.

Fort Kerium's Ex-Kerium supply is running dangerously low. Outlaw Scuzz has taken over uncle Mern's Colony and refuses to supply the Fort. BraveStarr travels to Yucky Gulch to find out why Mern has lost his confidence.

Tex Hex is stirring up trouble and scaring off miners at Sawtooth. The miners are too afraid to stand up to Hex, but BraveStarr challenges him to a duel at Sundown.

A boy wants to be BraveStarr's sidekick, but his father begs BraveStarr to convince the kid to come to his senses and come back home.

During a reconnaissance mission, BraveStarr's shuttle crashes near a mountain and Tex Hex tries to capture him.

BraveStarr accepts to train young hotheaded Carson. In his arrogance, the kid causes an incident that almost leads to a war.

Evil alien serpent-woman Vipra hypnotizes Tex Hex and leads his gang against BraveStarr.

When Galactic Senator Chambers comes along announcing that he has chosen Fort Kerium to build a new space fighter station, Mayor Derringer and the rest of New Texas see it as the perfect opportunity for their city to be famous and are willing to go to great lengths to get what they want even if it means making a deal with the untrustworthy Tex Hex.

Tex Hex makes a deal with Thoren the Slavemaster to bring Prarie people to him to be made slaves, but the villain soon realises that what goes around comes around and must team up with BraveStarr to stop him.

Dealer, a Dingo drug pusher, offers Jay a taste of Spin and soon the boy is addicted. His best friend Brad wants to get help, but also promised Jay not to squeal.

Prairie People start a rebellion against the Galactic Council, after it announces a controversial decision that Fuzz and his people see as a potential threat.

Tex Hex imprisons Shaman, BraveStarr's mentor and greatest ally. BraveStarr's friend Judge J.B. has a rescue plan.

We see as a group, Doc Clayton, Angus McBride, Judge J.B. McBride and Bravestarr on Thirty/Thirty check on the local prospects and others, they break up near a mine, Digger, Togg Salter, took some of the Kerium, he didn't ask for it, so when he tried to keep from be arrested, an explosion, and a gas that folks fear started to spread, so using the He was also done a lot scientific work, he had no criminal record from the Optivisor, he needed to help his sick son, but the prospector, spoke with Judge J.B. McBrideand Bravestarr about working for a year with him instead of going to jail in an agreement.

Billy the Droid robs the Fort Kerium bank and escapes, due to Fuzz's bumbling. Wanting to make amends, Fuzz goes after Billy, but ends up as a hostage.

Demonic cattle-spirit Stampede, who's Tex Hex's boss, gets a hold of Shaman's magic staff. BraveStarr and all his friends attempt to stop it from unleashing unimaginable power.

Warrior Kreng race captures Shaman and asks for huge ransom.

Stampede creates magical arrows that remove two of the three New Texas suns.

BraveStarr must protect two small aliens from a space bandit.

The Krang begin their invasion of New Texas.

A planet is about to hit New Texas. BraveStarr and a professor must drop a megaton bomb on it and destroy it.

A bounty hunter is after the town's doctor.

The scroungy son of BraveStarr's friend goes after the outlaws himself to prove to his dad and BraveStarr what he's capable of.

Tex Hex turns the tables on BraveStarr by closing up Fort Kerium when the marshal is out rescuing J.B. and Handlebar from a pack of Dingoes.

Tex Hex gets some help and attempts to destroy the source of Shaman's power.

Due to a freak accident Judge J.B. ends up one billion years into the past. She meets dangerous giants, but also Fuzz's friendly ancestors. Also, BraveStarr goes after her, but so do the bandits.

An outlaw must come out of hiding to see his family and BraveStarr finds out about this.

Wild Child is finding it difficult to adjust to life in school where he is being teased for his Dingo upbringing. But when everyone in Fort Kerium save Wild Child and BraveStarr become ill because of the Fever Flower, the two of them team up to ask the Dingo Llama for medicine.

Stampede punishes Tex Hex for his failures to stop BraveStarr and takes away his powers. He is then easily arrested and sent to town to face trial.

Fuzz becomes the victim of a space collector, who collects rare alien species.

Stampede is planning an attack on the town, but since its Christmas, Shaman warns Tex Hex that Tex's old flame is coming to town on that very same day.

A mob is formed after someone destroys the town's water source. BraveStarr must find the real culprit first.

Thirty and a group of kids go camping. Unfortunately, the camp is on the same place where a bandits' buried treasure is supposedly located and the bandits want it back.

Stampede uses a magical shield to defeat Shaman in his own game and leave the town unprotected.

Judge J.B. must rescue her brother after the computer that runs the ship he was on goes insane.

Dingo Dan, an outlaw and member of Coyote-like Dingo race, blackmails the daughter of the jailer to free his gang.

Orville, a shy boy with a stutter, learns that outlaws Craver and Grumble are the ones who've been robbing miners over at South Bend. The boy gets captured, but befriends Grumble, who, like Orville, is just also looking for a friend.

When Sherlock Holmes plummets down Reichenbach Falls, a natural time warp transports him into the year 2249. There he is patched up by Rigillian Dr. Wt'sn of Harley Str. Hospital. They soon team up with Holmes' great great grandniece, Yard Agent Mycroft Holmes. His first case is presented by Marshal BraveStarr, who is searching for a missing alien boy called Fleeder.

Holmes, Dr. Wt'sn and their companions have been captured by Professor Moriarty, who has survived thanks to a spell of suspended animation and now aims to take over the entire Earth (and possibly beyond) using Fleeder's hypnotic singing talent.

Galactic Battle of the Bands festival is being held on New Texas. Stampede gives Tex Hex the Black Widow guitar that sows discord.

Sand Storm attacks prospector Jeremiah to get his treasure map crystal. BraveStarr and Fuzz take him to the Prairie People Kingdom to recuperate, where Jeremiah learns the value of friendship thanks to blind prairie person Munchie.

Thirty loses his one-of-a-kind cherished gun "Sara Jane". A young alien boy finds it and, not knowing what it is, uses it as a toy.

One of the crooks BraveStarr arrested once claims he wants to become good and asks BraveStarr to help him stop the other guy.

A ship with an empress is arriving to New Texas for refueling. BraveStarr and Fuzz are sent to protect her while there. Unfortunately, it's not those on the outside that she should be wary of.

Stampede creates a gigantic mechanical Brontosaur named "Bronco-Tank" to destroy the town of Fort Kerium once and for all.

An Evil alien Queen want's a horse for her Birthday so she captures ThirtyThirty and some of Fuzz's people. BraveStarr goes to rescue them.

Stampede uses his powers to surround the planet with an impregnable field of asteroids. BraveStarr must break through this blockade. Meanwhile, Thirty-Thirty must deal with a Krang wizard.

Paco, a retired marshal who vowed never to pick up his Neutra-Laser again wants to start a new life as a farmer near Fort Kerium. But Sand Storm claims the valley is his and tries to force Paco and his daughter Michelle out.

Newcomer Long Arm John helps to save Mayor Derringer when Ryder and the Dune Buggy gang attack the Stratocoach. The Mayor tells BraveStarr to appoint Long Arm as his new deputy, making Fuzz worry about his job.

BraveStarr is surprised to have lost his Spirit Animal powers. Shaman tells him he must face a trial in the wilderness of New Texas to renew his bond with the animal spirits. Stampede and Sand Storm take this opportunity to set a trap for the marshal in the Badlands.
