This manual is no longer up to date, current information is being updated on the new cross-factional field manual.
New recruits will start as a Private (PVT) in White Battalion, the bottom rank within the Enlisted group. Privates can be promoted by doing well in combat (Combat Efficiency) and following orders. Once a player is the highest Enlisted rank, they will have to start showing some leadership skills. Leadership skills are related to leading squads, giving out orders in battle, shot-calling, among other things.
Once someone becomes a SGT or their division's respective rank, they’ll become an NCO (Non-Commissioned Officer) and will get more responsibilities. For starters, NCOs are responsible for training recruits, so they must pay attention to anyone in need of training. NCOs are also responsible and encouraged to lead the Enlisted members into battle, since NCOs are meant to show leadership skills to be promoted and to maintain their rank. As soon as someone becomes a WO, they will have to start doing some CO duties, but they must ask for permission.
The COs (Commissioned Officers) are responsible for managing their subdivision, scheduling tryouts and announcing Debriefs. Majors are Division leaders while Colonels are the Battalion leaders. COs pretty much lead everyone and everything except the Leadership group. This group is very exclusive, since there can only be one person per rank. The members of the Leadership group manage the whole rebel army and the LOR has the final say on most things. An extension of Leadership are the Lambda Council, whom assist in maintaining the logistics and integrity of the Resistance; they primarily provide general support to COs on their operations and logistics.
The Resistance Reserve (AKA Honoraries) are former COs who still maintain contact with their former division as well as the main officer corps of the resistance. They are able to give advice and play on the NCO whitelist of the division for which they are Honorary without having the main responsibility of a rank. Each division has a maximum 10 slots for Honoraries, if the roster is full, Honoraries can either be removed by a self request, by the divisions high command, or by Leadership to make room for new Honoraries.
