Division: Elite Overwatch (EOW)
Leader: CmD Taiga
Description: Serving as the Combine's shock troops, REAPER units specialize in all matter of situations, from attacking fortified rebel positions or even safeguarding high-importance individuals. Armed with a powerful assault rifle, as well as sporting the highest health value behind handpicked units, EOW REAPERs can be a menace individually, but it's their tendency to coordinate with fellow EOWs that truly makes them a threat to be reckoned with.
While they are considered transhumans, these units can be enslaved by the Military Police.Â

BACKGROUND LORE
"The most heavily augmented and transhumanised of the lot. The majority of EOWs are composed of new recruits who had distinguished themselves in combat operations after the initial Uprising. Particular care has been taken to ensure the absolute loyalty of these units, however they are quite different from the EOWs of old due to somewhat altered regulations pertaining to mind alteration, resulting in the newer elements being not as straight-laced as their predecessors."
HOW TO COUNTER
As said above, EOW REAPERs have the highest HP of any non-handpicked division, and their rifle is good enough to work on most situations. Snipers work wonders at taking them out safely, while shotgun classes like Rogue Units and Assaults can make short work of their large health pool.
EOW REAPERs have a tendency to deploy in squads alongside other REAPERs. Organizing your own groups or simply striking out in large groups should give you more of a chance when you encounter a group of them.
