The winter of this year was particularly severe, posing significant challenges for vulnerable communities living in remote tribal regions. In response, Rainbow Welfare Society undertook a dedicated winter‑relief initiative to support families residing in a tribal settlement near Suddho village in Purba Bardhaman. The project aimed to provide essential warmth, comfort, and dignity to those most affected by the harsh weather.

Pre‑owned but usable clothes and winter garments—collected from the Rupang Dehi Exhibition organized by Tanayas—were also distributed.

Field members played a crucial role in the success of this initiative.
Their responsibilities included managing the exhibition stall before Durga Puja, collecting and sorting clothes, and ensuring smooth delivery across three villages.
Their dedication ensured that every donated item reached the right hands with care and respect.
c. Partnership with Tanayas Group
The Tanayas group provided Rainbow Welfare Society with a stall at the Rupang Dehi Exhibition, significantly easing the collection process.
This collaboration enabled the Society to gather a substantial amount of winter clothing from the community.
