Details of execution:
With the experience gained from the work done during critical times and after seeing the happy faces of people, Bengal Help Club decided to venture into other social works. In the meantime, two new members, Subhadip and Gouranga, based in Katwa, Purba Bardhaman joined us and started working actively. Durga Puja is the greatest festival in West Bengal, where people irrespective of caste, religion, and language celebrate together on a grander scale. Following the newfound energy, we didn't stop and vigorously worked for the betterment of society. Bengal Help Club reached out and shared the grief of cyclone 'YASH' affected people in the Sundarbans area, distributing food and necessary items to the flood-affected people of Purba Bardhhaman. We distributed new saree and kids wear and brought joy and smiles to the faces of the children and old people of Balarampur, a deprived tribal village near Bankapasi, Katwa PS during the last Durga Puja. Members of the Bengal Help Club extended their heartfelt support and spent quality time with the children of Goai Premananda Ashram, Katwa, and distributed clothes.
